I’m back home, looks just like I left it,
My heart opens bit by bit,
I’m back on my window sill again,
But now it gets worse, my pain,
When I left years ago, I went looking,
For a life, happiness I went seeking,
I saw its beauties; saw the colors in the skies,
I felt my smile go through to my eyes,
I found a friend; he pulled me high above,
Out of the dark pit I fell, he had love,
Ill never know how, but I let him slip, he’s gone,
And I am here on my window sill alone,
This time though I won’t leave, strength I have no more,
Ill sit here an let my smile go sore.
