Empty within!

I walk on through the night and through the day,

I move on, paying no heed to any say,

I look up at the rain of tears as they fall,

but I keep at it, I scale up the wall,

As I watch the world pass on by,

I see not the evil, not the dark, nor the lie,

Only the light, the beauty and the bliss I choose to see,

and I smile, for that is all there is to me,

I spread my joy and love to all around,

as pain and despair push them to the ground,

As I pass the rainbow and reach the other side,

I look, but find no pot with gold inside,

Dark clouds gather and win their war,

waves of agony lash at me with no bar,

There are no happy endings I now know,

There was never any bliss that looked to grow,

I let the light inside me fade and die,

With nothing more to give, look here I lie.
